Steps
- 1
Boil the beets, cut into quarters, in 2 liters (about 8 1/2 cups) of water. Keep until the water cools. (Do not discard the beets)
- 2
Chop all the fruit into cubes, slice the bananas, and cut the lettuce into strips. Set aside.
- 3
Once the beet water is cool, blend it with the beets, strain, and pour into another container with 3 liters (about 12 3/4 cups) of water.
- 4
Add the chopped fruit to the beet water and add 2 to 4 liters (about 8 1/2 to 17 cups) more water, depending on your preference.
- 5
Add sugar to taste. Serve very cold, preferably keeping the water refrigerated as long as possible before serving, or add ice cubes if needed.
