Okra should be washed with clean water and chopped. Heat 2 Tbsp of oil in a pan and saute it and keep it on a side.

Heat remaining oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and asafoetida, add chopped tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes turn soft. Now add all the spices to it and mix it properly.

When the oil separates, add the curd, add the grated okra and mix well and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add kasoori fenugreek and chopped green coriander and mix well. Okra masala vegetable can be served hot with roti or paratha.
