"Since in my previous post I have shared "how to prepare Ugali", I will kindly skip this procedure. Let embark on clear journey of delicious Herrings.
Delicious Wet fried Herrings and Ugali

Clean you Herrings in warm water.

Pour approximately a 300 ml of water in your cooking pot, add some salt then your clean Herrings. Mount the mixture on the burner and let it boil until dry.

Mean while chop your onions then keep it on a bowl

Chop your green pepper then keep on a separate bowl

Chop your tomatoes then keep it on a separate bowl

Using mortar and Pestle crush fresh garlic and keep it on separate bowl.

Using a sizable pan add vegetable oil and mount it on the burner

Add onions and fry them until golden

Add your crushed garlic and green pepper as you keep on frying.

Add your tomatoes as you continue to slowly turn the mixture on the pan until for 5 minutes

Add your already boiled dry herrings and turn the mixture to integrate well then cover it with a lid for 6-8 min after reducing the strength of the burner to moderate.

When sure that the mixture has spread well, remove the lid and mix stir tenderly again for 30 seconds.

Add very little water to keep the mixture wet.

Split your lemon into halves. Holding a sieve over the mixture on the pan to avoid seeds falling into the pan, squeeze the sup into the mixture.

Keep tenderly stir for approximately 1 minute

Add your Turmeric powder.

Add your ginger too

Stir the mixture and leave it keep cooking for around 5 minutes. Make sure that there is some amount of water in the mixture to ensure that it remains wet.

Follow the previous method of preparing "Ugali" (Corn flour cake)

Then serve as shown in the Main picture.
