Ingredients

6 -8 servings
  1. 3 lbsboneless chicken thighs
  2. 1 1/2 cupslow sodium soy sauce
  3. 1 cupseasoned rice vinegar
  4. 1/4 cupdry red wine
  5. 1 cupwater
  6. 1 tbsminced garlic
  7. 1 tbsblack pepper
  8. 1/2 cupbrown sugar
  9. 4bay leaves

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Combine all ingredients and marinade chicken for 1 to 4 hours

  2. 2

    Place chicken and marinade in a wok. Simmer until chicken is tender. Up to 30 minutes.

    Remove chicken and reduce liquid to desired thickness. Or add corn starch mixed with water to thicken.

    Serve with rice and sauce. Enjoy.

cooking is a passion of mine. I started when I was very young and I had to drag a milk crate around to see over the counter. taught by a career cook (my grandmother ). I have always tried to push the boundaries of conventional cooking. I prefer cooking wild game. when I can get my hands on it, but fish is more readily available for me. I raise and butcher most of the livestock that I use for my conventional recipes. I hope everyone can find a few recipes they like in my list.

cooked it and the taste was really terrible and sour..i was wondering if the rice vinegar or wine that made it really sour and not edible
