Indian Shake or Lassi is a popular drink in the Indian Subcontinent. Not only is it a refreshingly awesome one with subtle flavours of the ingredients used, but it is also a beneficial one in hot Weather conditions. Nowadays there are umpteen number of variations attempted by many home cooks and almost all are absolutely delightful because Lassi is always a winner.

In this particular version too, I have used Betel leaves or Paan along with Gulkhand or Rose Petals Preserve for a yummy change. It not only looks soothing but also tastes incredible. One or two small leaves are enough for this lip-smacking homemade Lassi. The Rose Jam is also homemade and pure. Betel leaves are rich in antioxidants, with anti inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. They improves digestion, supports respiratory health, boosts oral health, helps in treating coughs and cold. These are an excellent cure for Lung and Chest congestion. But of course as with all, over consumption is not good. Moderation is the key to gain utmost benefits. That's it.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
