Steps
- 1
First you put oil in a wok/cooking pot. Add your mince and fry it until it changes color
- 2
Then you add your basic spices to it and stir fry it a little more and add your diced tomatoes & 50-100 ml of water. Fry some more
- 3
Once the tomatoes soften and start to blend into the mince, add your gigi paste and zeera. Fry some more and add remaining water
- 4
Let the mince cook through 75% and then add your diced potatoes. Mix well
- 5
Turn the flame to medium-low and cover with lid. Let it cook for approximately 20 mins until potatoes are tender
- 6
Once it's ready, turn up the flame to high and let the oil separate from water. Add your green chillies and cilantro & serve!
