Ingredients

1 cake
  1. 2-3mashed ripe bananas
  2. 4 ozapple sauce (or 1 extra banana)
  3. 1/2 cupoil
  4. 3/4 cupsugar
  5. 1egg
  6. 1 tspvanilla
  7. 1.5 cupall-purpose flour
  8. 1 tspbaking soda
  9. 1/4 tspsalt
  10. 1 tspcinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice)
  11. 1 cupchocolate chips (optional)

    Preheat oven to 325 F.

    In a large bowl, mash bananas.

    If using apple sauce, add it into the bowl with the mashed bananas. Add in oil, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Mix until well-combined.

    In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon until combined.

    Combine the wet and dry ingredients together. Do not overmix.

  6. 6

    Stir in chocolate chips, if using.

  7. 7

    Bake in a greased loaf pan for 50-60 minutes and enjoy!
