  1. 2cucumbers 🥒 big
  2. 2red sweet pepper 🫑 big
  3. 1white onion 🧅 medium
  4. 1-2 tbspgrainy mustard
  5. 1-2 tbspDijon mustard
  6. 1-2 tbsphot mustard
  7. 1 tspturmeric
  8. 0.5-1 tspground pepper mixture
  9. 3-5 tbspsugar
  10. 1 tbspsalt
  11. 30-35 mltable vinegar 9%
  12. 1 tbspstarch

  1. 1

    Chop all the vegetables very finely. I like to blend them lightly in a blender at low speed rather than chop them. Never puree them; leave some chunks.

    Add mustard and spices, except vinegar. Stir. Taste.

    Bring the mixture to a boil. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Dissolve the starch in a small amount of cold water. Add to the sauce. Cook for another 5 minutes.

    Pour vinegar before adding starch, or at the very end. Store the sauce in the refrigerator.
