Hummus

Hummus is a tasty Middle Eastern dip, spread made from cooked and mashed chickpeas blended with garlic, tahini and lemon juice. The standard garnish with olive oil, parsley and paprika.

Hummus is a tasty Middle Eastern dip, spread made from cooked and mashed chickpeas blended with garlic, tahini and lemon juice. The standard garnish with olive oil, parsley and paprika.
Steps

Take a cup of kabuli chana rinse and soak overnight. Keep other things ready.

Keep a kadai on medium heat and add sesame seeds, saute till it pops. Remove and transfer to a mixer jar add lemon juice,garlic and salt. Grind in to a smooth paste. Transfer to a bowl.

Drain the chickpeas,salt and lemon juice and grind into a thick and smooth paste. Add the tahini paste and grind some more time. It's too thick add cold water until it reaches the perfect consistency. Hummus is ready to serve.

Transfer to a serving bowl sprinkle some olive oil and paprika. You can store the hummus for a week in the refrigerator and enjoy the dip.
