Lightly roast oats in a pan, then grind into a fine powder.

In a bowl, mix grated bottle gourd, onion, coriander, oats powder, green chili, turmeric, besan, and salt.

Add 2-3 tbsp water as needed to form a dough.

Shape the mixture into round tikkis.

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan. Place 3-4 tikkis and fry on medium-low heat.

Cook until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with tea.
Tips
Make sure to squeeze out excess water from the grated bottle gourd for better texture.
