I was looking forward to trying this recipe for a week and I am very proud to say that I got this recipe down - WOO HOO!!!! .... It was just so very delicious and just so EASY to make !!! A must try .... This will go together with some fried rice or pulao or naan ... This is a Indo chinese chinese dish that is sure to please your guests

Ingredients

  • Chicken Boneless cut into small pieces
  • Egg
  • 6 tbspsCornflour -
  • Salt
  • 2 tbspsSoy Sauce -
  • to fryOil -
  • tspGinger Garlic and paste - each
  • Onions - sliced
  • 3 - 4Green chillies , - cut across
  • 2 cupsChicken Stock -
  • 1Green capsicum -
  • 2 tbspsVinegar -
  • Spring Onions

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinade: Beat the egg and add 4tbsp cornflour, salt and one tbsp soy sauce. Marinate for 30mins. Dry fry marinated chicken in some oil. Drain the oil by putting the chicken on some absorbent paper

  2. 2

    Mix 2tbsp of cornflour in 1 cup of water and keep aside

  3. 3

    In a pan, heat oil, and add ginger and garlic paste and stir fry for a minute. Add the onions and green chillies and stir fry. Stir in remaining soy sauce, and salt. Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil

  4. 4

    Stir in the cornflour mixture and cook until the sauce starts to thicken. Add the fried chicken pieces and capsicum and cook for a few mins

  5. 5

    Finally add the 2tbsp of vinegar and garnish it with spring onions

Welcome to my Blog The Eaterspot. My blogging journey began in March 2010. I had just relocated from the US, and living in Wellington, New Zealand was definitely a whole lot different from the US.
