Mix both flours, sugar, bicarbonate of soda, and salt in a bowl.

In another bowl, whisk egg, sunflower oil, vanilla, and milk.

Combine wet and dry ingredients to make a batter. Mix gently with a big spoon.

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

Flip when bubbles appear on the surface.

Cook until both sides are golden.
