Graveyard Oreo Ice Cream

Halloween is my favourite time to unwind and make fun treats, so I turned my homemade Oreo ice cream into a little graveyard. It is creamy, rich and not too sweet, and it uses simple ingredients like whipped cream powder, condensed milk and crushed Oreos. Store-bought ice cream can be pricey and full of sugar, but this one costs less and holds up well when it softens. I love serving it in a bowl with extra Oreo crumbs. #CookpadApron2026

Steps
- 1
Add powdered whipped cream, water and powdered milk in a mixer and cream on a low speed for 5 minutes. Switch to high speed for another 10 minutes until it doubles in size and become light and fluffy. Scoop out.
- 2
Fold in condensed milk and vanilla extract gently.
- 3
Crush some oreos and add some chocolate chips and freeze for at least 7 hours plus or overnight. Add more oreos and chips and enjoy.
Tips
Whip the cream powder, milk and water until the mixture doubles in size and turns light and fluffy. This step makes the ice cream creamy.
Fold in the condensed milk gently so you keep the air in.
Crush the Oreos into chunky pieces, not fine dust, so you get crunch in every bite.
Freeze overnight for the best texture.
