Pre-heat the oven to 350 °F.

Scrape out the filling of the Oreo cookies and discard. Crush the cookies and mix with melted butter.

Add 1 tablespoon of this mixture to the base of each lined cupcake tin. Tamp it down firmly.

Beat the softened cream cheese and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Add nutella, and beat well till combined.

Pour the cheesecake mixture onto the bases and fill three-fourths of the way till the top.

Bake 23 - 25 minutes, till the centers and just set.

Remove from the oven and cool completely. Refrigerate.

Top with whipped cream or vanilla frosting OR pipe thin squiggles of melted nutella over the top. Serve.
