Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoonsactive dry yeast
  • 1 cupplus 2 tablespoons warm water
  • 1/3 cupvegetable oil
  • 1/4 cupsugar
  • 1large egg
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 3 cupsall-purpose flour

Steps

    First Pre-Heat your Oven to 425. In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Add your oil and sugar; and stir with a whisk. Let stand for 10 minutes covered with a non-fuzzy towel. Once the dough has rested you can add the egg, salt and flour to form a soft dough.

    Flour your Counter or large cutting board and knead your dough until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes until all of the flour is completely incorporated. DO NOT LET RISE. Next you want Divide the dough into 12 pieces; shape each into a ball. Place a few inches apart on a greased baking sheets.

    Now all you want to do is cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and brush some melted creamy butter on your dinner rolls and then remove from the pans to wire racks to cool down. They are perfect to serve warm with some melted sweet butter.

    Perfect Creamy butter. Take a stick of REAL BUTTER and place on a plate in the microwave for only 20 seconds. It will give it that nice not all the way melted creamy butter to brush perfectly on your dinner rolls.

    Note: These are also perfect to make Great Burger Buns*
