Ingredients

  1. 3eggs
  2. 1 cuppecan halves
  3. 1 cuplight brown sugar
  4. 1 cupdark corn syrup
  5. 1/3 cupbutter or margarine, melted
  6. 2square baking chocolate, semisweet, melted
  7. 1/2 tspcinnamon, optional

Steps

45 mins
  1. 1

    beat eggs with rotary beater or fork

  2. 2

    blend in sugar using spoon

  3. 3

    stir in syrup, butter, and chocolate

  4. 4

    add pecans

  5. 5

    fill pie crust

  6. 6

    cover edge with foil all around

  7. 7

    bake at 350°F for 25 minutes

  8. 8

    remove foil for additional 25 minutes

  9. 9

    pie is done when a knife, inserted into center of pie, comes out clean
