Ingredients

16 servings
  • 1 boxwhite cake ( prepared)
  • 2 cupboiling water
  • 1 packagesjell-o lemon gelatin (6oz)
  • 1 packagesjell-o lemon instant pudding (3.4oz)
  • 1 cupcold milk
  • 3 cupcool whip ( thawed)

Steps

  1. 1

    pierce prepared cake with fork, at 1/2 inch intervals

  2. 2

    mix boiling water with gelatin; stir for 2 min. until completely dissolved

  3. 3

    carefully pour gelatin over cake

  4. 4

    refrigerate for 3 hours

  5. 5

    beat pudding mix and milk in large bowl with wisk for 2 min; add cool whip

  6. 6

    frost the cake with pudding mixture; refrigerate 1 hour

can this be made without the gelatin and substituted with something a sided from that? looks really good.
