Ingredients

6 servings
  • 1 cupgranulated sugar
  • 4 tbspmelted butter
  • 1/2 cupdark corn syrup
  • 3large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cupPecan halves
  • 2 1/2 tbspJack Daniel's
  • 19 in. pie shell, unbaked
  • 1cookie sheet

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven at 375.

  2. 2

    In a bowl, add sugar, melted butter, Jack Daniel's and stir well.

  3. 3

    Then add dark corn syrup, beaten eggs, pecans and stir well.

  4. 4

    Place filling into pie shell. Transfer pie onto cookie sheet and place in oven.

  5. 5

    Bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Then lower to 350 and bake for additional 25 minutes or until pie has set.

I love both pecans and walnuts so I used both; and I have to admit, upped the Jack Daniel's a bit. Really amazing, thanks much!
