Ingredients

6 servings

2 lbOxtail
4 tbspItilian seasoning
2 clovegarlic cloves
4 mediumpotatoes quarted
1 largeonion quarted
1 quarttomatoes
2bay leaf
1 cupflour
3 tbspvegetable oil
2 tbspcelery salt
2 cupwater
1/2 packagesof baby carrot

Steps

Score Oxtail all around and rub 2 Tablespoons of Italian season all over and into Oxtail coat in flour and place in a pan with heated oil add 2 cloves of crushed garlic and braze Oxtail on all sides

Place brazed Oxtail into crockpot with tomatoes , onion , potatoes, carrots and the garlic used to braze the Oxtail

Add remainder of Italian seasoning bay leaves , and water to crock pot

Set crockpot on low for 8 hours

About half way through make a rue with the oil from brazing and a Quarter cup of flour. Should be a thick paste if to wet ad more flour if dry add more oil.

Add rue to the stew and continue to cook
