I saw this recipe on facebook and thought my sweet tooth daughter Rachana would love them. She had fun making them with me but had more fun eating them. I'm a savoury person and I even loved them. Won't be making rum balls the traditional way again

Ingredients

  1. 2packets of tim tams
  2. 395 gramstin condensed milk
  3. desiccaated coconut or grated chocolate

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Set out your work station with a food processor, mixing bowl, small bowl, wooden spoon or spatula and long container plus ingredients

  2. 2

Place some desiccated coconut or grated chocolate into a small bowl. Open a packet of Tim Tams, break in half and place in food processor

  3. 3

Blitz until the biscuits are a fine crumb. Transfer to the mixing bowl and repeat with the other packet

  4. 4

Add in the condensed milk, folding through as you go until there are no dry biscuit crumbs

  5. 5

With clean hands, roll into balls with your palms and then roll through the coconut. Place each ball in a single layer in the container and once done, put in the fridge to set. Now let the kiddies lick the bowl clean! I used original Tim Tams but you could also use the white or dark chocolate, black forest, Turkish delight, peanut butter etc. Or do a combination when entertaining. You'll be very popular!
