2 ozunsweetened chocolate
2 1/2 cupminiature marshmallow
1/4 cupwater
4 tbspbutter or margarine
2 1/2 cupsifted confections' sugar
1 tspvanilla
1/4 cupbroken walnuts(optional)

in a 2-quart saucepan, combine chocolate, half the marshmallows, water, and butter.

heat until blenned, stirring constantly.

cool slightly, add sugar and vanilla; beat till thick.

stir in the remaining marshmallows.

add nuts if desired.
