Ingredients

  1. 4 can15 oz. cans sweet corn
  2. 4 can15 oz cans cream corn
  3. 3 pints1/2 quarts of heavy cream
  4. 2 packagesfrozen hash brown potatoes
  5. 2 bunchgreen onion chopped
  6. 1 bunchparsley chopped
  7. 1 cupchopped basil
  8. 3 box32 oz. chicken broth
  9. 2 mediumsweet onions suated
  10. 1 packagesfat back diced and browned
  11. 2 packages1 lb package bacon cooked and crumbled
  12. 1chicken bullion
  13. 2 lbdiced chicken breast
  14. 1 dashsalt and pepper to taste
  15. 1corn starch for thickening

Steps

  1. 1

    in a large stock pot add the first 9 ingrediants and start heating on Med. low heat to prevent burning

  2. 2

    brown chicken in the skillet used for the fat back

  3. 3

    add the chicken, bacon and the fat back to the stock pot and simmer for several hours

  4. 4

    use the chicken bullion to adjust the flavor to your liking

  5. 5

    salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

  6. 6

    if not as thick as you would like use corn starch and chicken broth mixture to thicken. Note: don't use water ad this will weaken the flavor.
