Ingredients

12 servings
  1. 1 1/2Pans corn bread (8 inch)
  2. 4 sliceitalian bread with sesame seeds, turn into small pieces
  3. 4Hard boiled eggs, but use only 2 of the whites, mashed
  4. 1 tspSeasoned salt
  5. 1/4 tspPepper
  6. 1 tbspChopped sage
  7. 1 cupChopped parsley
  8. 2 1/2 cupChopped celery
  9. 1 cupChopped onion
  10. 1 1/2 stickbutter
  11. 14 ozChicken or turkey broth

Steps

  1. 1

    Crumble corn bread into large bowl, combine with italian bread pieces. Add mashed egg yolks and whites. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, sage and parsley. Toss gently to mix.

    Saute celery and onion in 1/2 cup butter until soft

  3. 3

    Add onion and celery to bread mixture and toss. Pour.in most of broth and mix well. Add more if mixture seems dry

  4. 4

    Grease a 9x13 pan. Transfer stuffing to pan. Dot with rest of butter

  5. 5

    Bake 325° for 30 to 40 minutes, until browned on top
