Combine cream and milk in saucepan

in separate bowl combine yolks and sugar

stir with wooden spoon until well blended and back of spoon glistens like pudding

gradually stir milk/cream mixture into egg/sugar mixture

cook until little bubbles form around edge of pan

return to saucepan cooking over medium heat until glistening.

strain into bowl and refrigerate overnite

add flavoring...ie; vanilla, fruit, chocolate, coffee

place in ice cream maker mix until pudding consistency
