This delicious dish is quick and easy to make! The sweetness of oyster sauce, the aroma of sesame oil, and the crispness of bok choy come together to create a popular Chinese-inspired side.

Trim the root ends off the bok choy and rinse the leaves thoroughly under running water. Soak in lightly salted water for 15 minutes, then rinse again to clean.

Crush the garlic and sauté in a pan with lard or oil. Remove a small portion of the sautéed garlic and set aside. Stir-fry the bok choy quickly over high heat, then add the oyster sauce, sesame oil (add more if you like), soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon water. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Arrange the bok choy on a plate, top with the reserved sautéed garlic, and serve.
