THIS RECIPE MAKES 2 DEEP DISH PIES OR 3 REGULAR PIES.

Peel / slice apples.

Add ingredients in order listed.

Cook until apples are semi-soft. Thicken as needed.

Pack filling tightly into uncooked pie shell that's been dusted with flour.

Cover with 2nd uncooked pie crust.

Fold top crust edge under bottom crust edge. Pinch together to seal edges.

Cut 4 steam slits in top crust. Sprinkle top with sugar.

Bake @ 400°F until top is GOLDEN BROWN.

Let set 20 min. before cutting.
