Ingredients

3 servings
  • 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cupWhole wheat flour
  • 2 tspbaking powder
  • 1 tbspsugar
  • 1/4 tspground nutmeg (optional)
  • 2/3 cupskim milk
  • 1/2 cupmashed ripe banana (1 medium banana)
  • 1 tbspvegetable oil
  • 1egg, lightly beaten

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well.

  2. 2

    Combine milk and next 3 ingredients
    Add to dry ingredients, stirring until smooth

  3. 3

    Pour about 1/4 cup batter onto a hot nonstick griddle (or skillet)
    Turn when tops are covered with bubbles and edges looked cooked
