Ingredients

3 servings
  1. 1/2 cupall-purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cupWhole wheat flour
  3. 2 tspbaking powder
  4. 1 tbspsugar
  5. 1/4 tspground nutmeg (optional)
  6. 2/3 cupskim milk
  7. 1/2 cupmashed ripe banana (1 medium banana)
  8. 1 tbspvegetable oil
  9. 1egg, lightly beaten

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well.

  2. 2

    Combine milk and next 3 ingredients
    Add to dry ingredients, stirring until smooth

  3. 3

    Pour about 1/4 cup batter onto a hot nonstick griddle (or skillet)
    Turn when tops are covered with bubbles and edges looked cooked
