Boil arhar daal in cooker for 3 whistles with pinch of salt and turmeric powder

Take another pan put some oil in it

Put some jeera and onions

Sauté onions till golden brown

Put ginger garlic paste and tomatoes

Then add seasoning like salt and chilli powder according to taste

After the tadka is prepared put the tadka in Cooker

Take the daal in bowl and garnish it with dhaniya
