Double Chocolate Mint Torte
This cake is the sponge cake I make for ice cream, mousse and fruit filled rolled cakes. I wanted a light cake for a layered torte so I cut the cake into four layers and whipped a refreshing chocolate peppermint ganache to fill each layer. Then topped it with a simple chocolate glaze. It's great with whipped cream and strawberries to contrast with the delicious chocolate!

Berry Brownie Torte
This recipe is the combination o favorite flavors, brownie bottom with whipped cream, fresh fruit and a chocolate drizzle, so delicious!

Pumpkin Torte
I've been making this for years, and it's become such a hit even among taste testers who don't generally enjoy things like pumpkin pie. This cake has a more subtle pumpkin taste (but it's still there), and combined with the filling, it's quite light and fluffy. This has replaced the traditional pie during Thanksgiving dinner, and is my mother's dessert of choice for Mother's Day :)

Tart Cherry Torte
With a nod to Marian Burros' NYT Original Plum Torte, this recipe will accommodate any stone fruit, really. I just happened to have a pound of luscious cherries that demanded to be pitted. When positioning the fruit in the batter, the following guideline works well: for larger fruit like peaches and plums, place in batter, then bake. For smaller fruit like cherries, place 3/4 in batter for baking. Then 20 minutes in, position the remaining cherries.

Strawberry Cream Torte
I paired my fudge brownies with a fresh strawberry cream filling for a great contrast of flavors in this torte. The crust is chewy and the filling a simple way to use the fresh summer strawberrys in a light creamy filling.

Sacher Torte
A rich chocolate cake from Austria with a layer of jam underneath the chocolate icing. The original sachertorte was apparently not layered, but the cake is often sliced in half and spread with an extra layer of apricot, red currant or raspberry jam. If you choose to layer, you will need to make extra jam glaze.I'm quite bad at making the icing look pretty but hopefully you can do better :P It will still taste good ;)

Cherry Almond Torte
Wonderfully delicious!

Chocolate Layer Torte with Coconut Cream Filling and Frosting
This torte is four layers of moist chocolate cake . Its filled and frosted with a light creamy coconut whipped cream made with dark chocolate covered mounds candy bars. The candy bar gives the filling and frosting a not to sweet touch of coconut and chocolate flavor that goes well with the rich cake layers.

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Mousse Torte
Chocolate and Peanut butter together here for two light and creamy flavors in each slice!

White Chocolate Mint Cream Torte with Chocolate Cream Topping
This light, creamy refreshing mint torte is very easy to make. However you have to plan ahead for the chilling time for the filling and topping. There is no baking involved so the steps are quick. I usally do all the melting the day before, chill everything overnight and then just put it together in the morning so it it firms up during the day. It is a really nice ending to any meal.

Peanut Butter Layered Mousse Torte
This torte is incredibly light and delicately flavored. It brings peanut butter to a silky smooth light and and fluffy level. Its topped with a whipped chocolate ganach layer then vanilla whipped cream for a melt in your mouth combination of flavors.

Easy Black Forest Pudding Pie
Use up the ingredients in your pantry and freezer to throw together a pretty easy dessert. Cheating, using store products and some homemade, will even have you believing you made this tasty treat from scratch. Then to change up a typical pudding pie and with one ingredient and turn it into a decadent black forest dream, you'll want to make sure you keep these few ingredients on hand!

Perfect Black Forest Gateau
Black Forest gateau or cake is a classic but very delicious cake.It is a minimum 3 layers chocolate cake, filled with vanilla whipped cream and canned cherry between layers. The side of the cake is covered wity shredded chocolate. It's been a long time since I eat a delicious Black Forest cake. I cannot find a decent black forest to enjoy, so I try to make it myself.I don't like the first recipe that I tried. The cake is dry and crumbly, and the filling also not so good. But then I found this recipe. It's like finding gold haha... I gather myself to try this recipe. And the result is this is it. This is the one I like. The cake is chocolate sponge, the filling is whipped cream and tons of cherry.Soo gooooddddd.... I'm so happy

Quick & Simple Black Forest Cake
My daughter wanted this for her birthday but she does not really like whipped cream or cool whip. She wanted to take it to work to share so the simple option was only cool whip between layers.
