First sieve your icing sugar n divide it into two
2:in a small bowl put water n the gelatine over a small fire.stir till clear.
3:add the glucose syrup n stir till the two liquids become one.remove from the fire.
4:add the glycerin n if need be so vanilla essence add a tbsp of shortening n stir till it cools (if u want ur fondant coloured add ur colour at this point)
5:pour the mixture to the bowl with 1/2the icing sugar stir till its thick n start kneading - 2
Now transfer to a clean surface kneed till it doesn't stick to your hand.apply some shortening n wrap with cling film.store in a airtight container
