Heat oil in, pressure cooker, add cumin seeds and bay leaves in it and allow it to crackle.

Now add ginger-garlic paste saute it well then add onion and saute it until it becomes light brown in colour.

In a bowl, combine kala chana and all spices and mix it well, put it into the same pressure cooker add little water and cook it for 2-3 whistles.

Again put same pressure cooker on the flame, add curd and cook it well.

Then add little lukewarm water or as per your requirement and cook it for a whistle and switch off the flame.

Your ghooghni is ready to serve now.

You can serve it with boiled rice, chapati, paratha or poori.
