Ingredients

  1. 1 cupsemolina (suji)
  2. 1 medium sizeonion
  3. 2dry red chillies
  4. as neededcurry leaves
  5. 2 tablespoonchana dal
  6. 1/2 tablespoon mustard seeds
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  9. 3 tablespoonoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pan put some oil after the oil gets hot add mustard seeds, onion, dry red chilli, chana dal, curry leaves.

  2. 2

    Cook for 2 minutes in a medium flame now add turmeric powder, salt to taste.

  3. 3

    Now add water (according to your choice) and let the suji absorbs the water completely.

  4. 4

    Again cook for 2 - 3 seconds.

  5. 5

    Your rawa upma is ready to serve.
