First take a bowl and wash Masoor dal properly.

Then take a cooker add washed Masoor dal, some water approximate 3 cups of water and add salt, turmeric, oil and boiled it.

Take 4 to 5 whistle.

Then take a pan heat oil, add Asefotida, cumin seeds.. let it sputter.

Add red mirch, garam masala, coriander powder.

Add boiled dal and cook 5 min in slow flame.

Garnish with coriander.
