Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1 litreMilk
  • 3 tbspbasmati rice
  • 3 tbspsugar or as required
  • 1/4th cupChopped dryfruits
  • 7-8 strandsSaffron

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.

    Grind it coarsely without water.

    In a pan boil milk and add coarse pounded rice.

    Cook until thick in consistency. Add sugar.

    Add saffron soaked in warm milk.

  6. 6

    Add it to phirni along with chopped dry fruits. Serve it chilled. Happy Phirni.
