Steps

Wash and soak the lentils overnight. Next day pressure cooker for 5 whistles.

Heat ghee, add jeera, whole garam masala, ginger-garlic paste, onions. Saute till golden brown. Add all dry masalas, salt.

Add the lentils. Add water if required. Add cream. Mix well.

Bring to a boil, let it simmer for 2 mins. Remove from heat and transfer in serving dish and garnish with coriander leaves and cream.

Serve hot with parathas
