To begin with combine all the ingredients except oil in a mixing bowl.

Mix them very well or until fully incorporated.

Divide the mixture to equal portions and shape them into round tikkis.

Now heat a non-stick frying pan and sprinkle oil all over. Gently place the tikkis and shallow fry them on both sides until golden brown and crisp.

Remove them to an absorbent kitchen paper.

Serve hot with any kind of sauce or chutney.
