Bread Gulab Jamun

First slice the edges of the bread and cut them into small pieces.

Add bread pieces in the bowl, add milk slowly in small quantities and mash well like a soft dough.

Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup - heat pan with water and sugar stir it, when sugar is dissolved add cardamom powder, saffron and rose essence, stir it and let it cook for few more mins.

Now take a small portion from bread dough and spread in your palm place a raisin in centre, close nicely and make it into small balls.

Then heat ghee/oil in a wok/pan, add prepared bread balls into hot oil and fry them until brown in colour on medium flame.

Add the fried balls into prepared hot sugar syrup, stir gently and let them soak for 30mins.

Delicious bread gulab jamuns are ready to serve.serve warm.
