Vrat ki Samak Rice Pulao

Rinse the samak rice in water 3-4 times. Keep aside.

First heat ghee in a kadai add dry fruits and makhana and fry them on low flame and keep aside.

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker add cumin seeds and chopped green chillies and soute few seconds then add washed samak rice, sendha namak and fry them few seconds.

Now add water and mix it everything properly and fix the lid and cook for 1 whistle. Switch off the flame and cool down.

Remove the lid add fried dry fruits, makhana and remaining ghee, mix it properly. Vrat ki samak rice pulao is ready.

Garnish with pomegranate pearls and serve.
