Shengoli Laddu

In a big mixing bowl take Chana dal flour (besan), salt. Now add milk little by little and knead a soft dough. Rest it for 15 minutes.

Now take small portion of dough and roll it by using hands to form like rod shape. Now cut it into small small pieces.

In a kadai heat Ghee. Now fry this till it becomes golden brown. Now your Shengoli is ready. Allow it to cool.

Now by using mixer jar or grinder make powder of shengoli.

Now by adding 2 tbsp ghee, roast this powder for 3-4 minutes on low flame.

Now prepare sugar syrup.
In a big utensil take sugar and water. Boil it on high flame till sugar gets dissolve completely. Now cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes. Prepare one string consistency sugar syrup. - 7
Now pour roasted shengoli powder into sugar syrup, mix it well. Now cover it and rest it for around 1-2 hours.

After an hour check it whether we can bind laddus, if we can bind it easily bind ladoos else mix that again and rest for another 1 hour.

Now with help of hand mash that mixture and make it lumps free. Now prepare ladoos of required shape.

Tasty Shengoli Laddus are ready to serve.

Tips - Don't apply too much force while binding ladoos because it will become hard.
- Using ghee for frying shengoli gives superb taste.
- Not required to add any dry fruits.
