Ingredients

4 servings
  • 250 gmsarbi
  • 2medium sized grated onion
  • 1 tspgarlic paste
  • 1/2 tspginger paste
  • 2-3finely chopped green chillies
  • 2small size grated tomato
  • as per taste Salt
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspcumin powder
  • 1/4 tspblack pepper powder
  • 1 tspgaram or meat masala powder
  • 1 pinchasfotida
  • 2 tbspOil
  • 1/2 tsplemon juice
  • Leavessome Chopped Coriander

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel,wash.and cut the Arbi in thick pieces.

  2. 2

    Take pressure cooker heat oil add arbi wedges Fry it and take out.

    In same oil put chilli and onion saute for it turn light brown now add ginger & garlic mix for 2 mins.Now add tomato,and.all the spices, cook until it leaves oil add Arbi stir for 2-3 mins.aAdd 1 cup warm water cook at medium flame for 2-3 whistles. Let it cool.Open the lid add lime juice., coriander leaves & serve it.
