Coarse grind brown chana. In a pan pour oil, add onions after the oil is warm. Add tomatoes after the onions are pink. Let the tomatoes mash.

Add all the powders and let it simmer till the oil separates. Add salt. Add the ground chana and add little water. Let the stove be on the sim. Keep stirring occasionally. Wait till chana is cooked.

Let it be a dry dish. So, wait till the water is absorbed and the curry becomes dry.

After the oil separates, garnish with coriander leaves and switch off the gas

Chat masala mixed with amchur, raw onion chopped, raw cabbage chopped to use as a topping

Take a roti. Smear chana curry, top it up raw onion, raw cabbage, add a dash of amchur and chat masala powder. Roll up the chapatti and serve with curd, sauce.
