Cooking Instructions

Heat oil in a pan add chopped onion untill brown.then add ginger garlic paste and fry untill raw smell goes off.

Add tomatoes and fry for 2mins, add red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, haldi, salt, garam masala powder and cook for 5 mins.

Add yogurt, mutton liver and water and cook for 15mins on low flame.garnish with fresh coriander.

The flavour coming from the kewra water and saffron is awesome. Cream can be added according to individual preference. The gravy is rich, smooth and creamy and can be relished with any form of rice or Indian bread. Kundan means gold and kaliyan means mutton. It is a shahi dish and is told that it was usually prepared for the nawabs. There was the use of gold leaf to this dish to give a royal touch Hence the name. #post18 - This is a Pakistani style mutton curry called Balti Gosht, which is very popular in North India, Pakistan and UK. This yummy dish can be enjoyed with plain biryani, pulao, kulcha, naan or tandoori roti. It is unsure how the name originated. According to some sauces, it is derived from the fact that it was cooked / served in an iron wok resembling a balti (bucket).
