Whisk the dry ingredients. Rub in the grated ginger, veg oil and shortening

Mix in the yogurt to make a nice smooth dough

Dust your bowl and place your dough ball, covering it with a damp cloth, allowing it to proof overnight

Roll out your dough and cut into desired shapes and sizes. allow to proof for a second time for at least 20 minutes

In a medium high heated oil in a pan, fry your dough pieces to a nice golden brown color
- 6
Place in an underlined container to absorb excess oil
- 7
Serve
