Ingredients

  • 10 slicesbread, torn into pieces
  • 1/2 cupsemolina (rava / sooji)
  • 1/4 cuprice flour (chawal ka atta)
  • 1/2 / 0.5 cup curd (dahi/yogurt)
  • to tasteSalt
  • 5 tspsesame oil for cooking
  • As requiredFinely chopped ginger, green chillies and coriander leaves

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine the bread, semolina, rice flour, curd, salt,ginger and green chillies and water in a deep bowl and mix well.

  2. 2

    Cover it with a lid and keep aside for 30 minutes.
    Blend the bread mixture in a mixer with water and blend it till smooth till u get the dosa batter consistency

  3. 3

    Garnish the bread dosa batter with coriander leaves and mix well.

  4. 4

    Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle), pour a ladleful of the batter and spread in a circular motion to make a 175 mm. (7") diameter circle and pour sesame oil on the top and edges.

  5. 5

    Cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes and flip the dosa to the other side.One both sides are cooked, fold the dosa into semi circle.

  6. 6

    Serve the dosa with coconut chutney.
