Ingredients

  • 200 gmpaneer
  • 1 tbspchopped onion
  • 1/2 tbspginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbspPoppy seed paste
  • 1 tbspcashew nut and melon seed paste each
  • 1 tbspraisin paste
  • Spices(Shahi jeera, Cloves, Jawatri, Cardamom, Cinnamon)
  • 1/2 tbspcoriander and cumin seed powder each
  • 2 tbspbeaten curb
  • 1 tbspfresh cream
  • 1 tbsproasted kasuri methi
  • 1 tbspmixture of keora water and rose water
  • Metha Ittar (optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    At first slightly fry the paneer. I used homemade paneer.

  2. 2

    Now take a pan and heat some oil. Add the spices. Now add chopped onion and fry till it get golden brown. Now add the ginger garlic paste and cook till it's raw smell goes off.

  3. 3

    Now add poppy seed paste, cashew nut paste, melon seed paste and raisin paste one by one. Add cumin and coriander powder. Cook it well. Add salt to taste. Now add beaten curd and some sugar. This recipe will be little sweet in taste.

    Add water and let the gravy boil. Add the fried paneer cube and fresh cream. Add keora and rose water. Now add roasted kasturi methi. It's almost done. Before switch off the oven you can add metha ittar.

  5. 5

    Finally the recipe is ready to serve with fried rice, pulao, paratha.
