Matar Paneer
Steps

Soak white peas in water for about 7-8 hours.

Wash it properly and transfer it to a pressure cooker with some water. Add in washed potatoes, salt and pressure cook for 3 whistles on medium heat.

Release the pressure and take out the potatoes. Peel and cut them into desired size. Keep it aside.

Heat a pan with 1 tbsp oil. Add paneer and fry until brown. Remove and keep it aside.

In the same pan add remaining oil to heat. Add cumin seeds. When they splutter, add chopped onion and fry till onion turns translucent. Add turmeic powder, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, and a pinch of salt. Saute for few minutes till the raw smell of garlic goes away. Then add chopped tomato and cook till soft. Add curry powder and cook for 2 minutes.

Now add the boiled white peas togetherwith the stock, boiled potatoes and fried paneer. Cook covered for 4-5 minutes. Open the lid, add garam masala powder and coriander leaves. Turn off the flame.

Serve hot with paratha/ chapati.
