Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspoil
  2. 50 gonion, chopped
  3. 400 gchicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
  4. 2 tsppaprika
  5. 450ml-500ml chicken stock
  6. 50 gmushrooms, chopped
  7. 1/2red or green peppee
  8. 200 gpasta (small)
  9. 100 mlsoured cream
  10. Salt and pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat

  2. 2

    Fry the onions until softened

  3. 3

    Add the chicken and paprika and fry for 2 minutes

  4. 4

    Add the mushrooms and pepper and fry for 1 minute more

  5. 5

    Stir in the stock and the seasoning

  6. 6

    Bring to the boil

  7. 7

    Add the pasta and cover with a lid. DO NOT COOK THE PASTA BEFOREHAND

  8. 8

    Reduce the heat and simmer gently for about 20 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the pasta is tender

  9. 9

    Stir in the soured cream

  10. 10

    Serve
