Odia chicken curry!
Steps

Marinate chicken with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and ginger garlic paste.
Keep it marinated for 30 minutes - 2
Heat oil in a pressure cooker till it reaches smoking point.
Reduce flame and add sugar to it. It gives a nice colour to the gravy.
Add all the whole spices and onions cut into julienne. - 3
Add onion paste and cook till it turns brown and the raw smell is gone.
Next pour the tomato puree and cook till the raw smell is gone.
This is going to take time. Cook in low flame so you don’t burn the spice paste. - 4
Add the marinated chicken and mix everything well. Let the chicken cook in the spice mix for 10 minutes on low flame.
Add water, check seasoning and add garam masala powder.
