Ingredients

  • 1 cupSamai rice
  • 500 mlMilk
  • 4 tbspSugar
  • 1/4 tbspCardamom powder
  • 4 tbspchopped dry fruit as you like almond, cashew, pistachio
  • As neededraisins
  • As neededsaffron
  • 2 tbspghee
  • 1/4tbs nutmeg powder

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan add ghee when hot add chopped dry fruit stir 2 minutes remove on a plate and keep a side

    In a pan add samai rice dry roast it 2 minutes now add milk cook on low heat until thick and rice becomes soft

    Now add sugar and roasted dry fruit, saffron leave raisins and nutmeg powder

    Mix all together and rice pudding is ready for serve

    Enjoy hot or chilled as you like
