Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes

Take oil in pan add white spices don't heat oil while adding spice we want flavors of spices don't want burnt

Add sliced onions and cook

When onions turn dark brown in colour add water and boil it

Add rice and dry spices and cook till 90% done

Cover it and keep it on low flame for 5 minutes it will done

I made white rice and brown rice pulav

Grandma was added veggies in place like green peas carrots potatoes cauliflower
